Inaugurated in 1953, the Route des Vins d'Alsace is one of the oldest Wine Route France. The cellar of King Dagobert

Its vineyard embraces the precise contours of the former estate of the Merovingian kings. In its center was the Kirchheim royal palace where lived the famous King Dagobert II.
The wines of the area then supplied the best tables in Strasbourg and over Northern Europe.
